Kasey Brown’s dream of winning the US Open Squash Championships in Philadelphia has ended after she was beaten in the finals.
The 26-year-old Taree local started strong, winning the first game against English opponent Laura Massaro.
But the world number five was too swift, taking the next three games to win the title.
Despite the loss, Brown will come back to Australia with a personal best – beating world number one Nicol David in the quarter finals.
