Relief is on the way for residents affected by the Mid North Coast bushfires, with the Federal Government offering disaster assistance.
Six homes were destroyed in the blazes at Pappinbarra and Dondingalong on Sunday, with livestock and sheds also lost.
The funding will help Kempsey, Mid Coast and Port Macquarie-Hastings Councils carry out necessary repairs.
While farmers will be able to apply for concessional interest rate loans and freight subsidies.
