Jake Higginbottom has finished as the best of our Hunter golfers at the Victorian Open, an event won by Dimi Papadatos from the Central Coast.
Leigh McKechnie and Nathan Green finished in a tie for 27th.
Higginbottom started the final round in the hunt for the title, but four bogeys on the front nine gave him a steep hill to climb.
Two birdies on the back nine helped him climb into a tie for sixth, four shots behind Papadatos.
