The Armidale School has hit the ground running in 20-17, with the highest number of enrolments in the school’s 120 year history.
137 students have started at the historic school this week, with female enrolments on the rise just one year after the campus went co-ed.
“Well, it’s 20 per cent at the start of this year are girls and that’s a very encouraging sign, but having more boys here this year is equally encouraging.”
Plans are now underway for a girl’s boarding house to be built on the campus.
