BOY RESCUED FROM BURRINGBAR CREEK

A young boy was rescued from Burringbar Creek last night, after reports he fell out of a tree and was seriously injured.
A New South Wales Ambulance paramedic retrieved the 12-year-old from the water, using a stretcher to float him to the bank where a Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicoper paramedic and doctor were waiting.
The patient was then air-lifted to the Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
He suffered a fractured arm, a fractured ankle and other minor injuries.
