Over the past fortnight, vandals have been targeting properties across the coastal town of Old Bar.
A number of residents, waking up to their mail boxes in pieces.
“They snapped our letterbox, they broke it to ground level, around the corner they pushed over a great big brick letter box, they’ve done damage at Cross Street, round near the bowling club there’s a lot of damage down through there,” one resident said.
Half a dozen street signs were also ripped from the ground.
“They were so quiet and yet it must have taken a fair bit of strength to do that you just wonder what else they could get up to,” another resident said.
The damage has been reported to the police.
