Armidale Athletics Club will send its biggest team ever to the New South Wales Country Championships in Dubbo later this month.
40 athletes have taken up the challenge – 11 more than 2016.
It’s hoped the boost will help the Vipers top the club record it set last year, of 29 gold medals.
Armidale is aiming to win the Hooper Cup, awarded to the most successful team across the three days.
