A 50-year-old Newcastle man has been arrested in Forster for possessing and disseminating child abuse material.
Locals noticed the man taking suspicious photos near Memorial Drive yesterday afternoon and alerted police.
Following investigations, police charged the man and seized a number of electronic storage devices.
He’s been refused bail and will appear at Taree Local Court next week.
