TWEED HEADS CLAIM COUNTRY CUP IN GRAFTON

Tweed Heads has chased down Tamworth at Ellem Oval in Grafton, to claim the Country Cup today.

The ballers took a couple of quick wickets, in the lead up to Tamworth captain Tom Groth joining Tom Fitzgerald at the crease.

Fitzgerald notching up 31 runs before being bowled out – leaving Groth to rack up the runs.

The men making light work of the inland side’s next batsmen.

While Groth remained to add 64 runs to the scoreboard, before walking during the 22nd over.
