Work has finally begun to rebuild the ailing Marlee and Duffs bridges, north of Wingham.
For years, the bridges have been in a state of disrepair requiring load limits to be enforced.
The $7-million project, due for completion mid next year, will see new concrete bridges built, to improve safety and access on Bulga Road.
