A group of cyclists braved the wet weather this morning, to start the year with a special ride around Newcastle.
They originally set out to complete 100 kilometres, but given the conditions, covered around 40.
While it was a small crew today, the group – known as ‘Ride and Recreation’ – has grown significantly over the past year.
