Newcastle powerlifter Cameron McKenzie has set his sights on breaking the open men’s deadlift world record next year.
The 22-year-old recently smashed the Australian record for heaviest total at the Oceania Championships in New Zealand.
The “total” includes your heaviest bench press, squat and deadlift weight combined.
