A man in his sixties was trapped in his car after crashing down an embankment off the Pacific Highway at Tabbimobile.
Emergency services received the call just after 1pm and managed to free the man a short time later.
He was air lifted to Lismore Base Hospital with a chest injury and lacerations to his foot.
