TRAINING BEGINS FOR KOKODA CHALLENGE

A group of young adventure-seekers have begun an intense 22-week training program ahead of walking the Kokoda Track in September.

Their baseline fitness was assessed today and many know they’ve got plenty of work to do.

” I need to work on endurance, and strength in my legs and work up muscles.”

“It’s really preparing them to walk the Kokoda Challenge and the Kokoda track, but its also preparing them for life this is a life skill program.”

The Kokoda Challenge in July will be their first major test before tackling the famous Papua New Guinea trek.
