- A surfer, bitten by a shark on the Mid North Coast, was in good spirits when he arrived by helicopter at the John Hunter Hospital this morning. The 62 year suffered severe injuries to his leg in the attack at Booti Booti south of Forster.
- Pro refugee protestors have abseiled down the front of parliament house in Canberra, unfurling a banner, following yesterdays protest inside the building.
- And it’s been revealed the doomed Columbia flight possibly ran out of fuel before crashing killing 71 people.
