Coffs Harbour dominated today’s short-course action in the Outrigger State Titles at Port Macquarie.
Its crews finished first and second in this morning’s 10 kilometre race, followed by Newcastle.
The course ran from the river mouth to Nobby’s Headland, and back.
“Conditions have been pretty close to perfect for what we wanted and what we needed, today’s been pretty good on the water, the bar’s starting to get a little bit choppy with the water going out,” Race Director Wesley Byrnes said.
Paddlers from all over New South Wales competed in the two-day regatta.
