The Pirates Rugby Club is calling for players to start training, ahead of the planned Central North women’s sevens competition next year.
The club plans to send a team to tournaments in Newcastle and Armidale in the pre-season.
Another session is planned at Chillingworth Oval on Tuesday night, kicking off at 6pm.
Meanwhile, Mat Kelly has retained the men’s first grade coaching position, after leading the team to the major premiership.
