Gosford Sailing Club member and Olympic gold medallist Tom Burton has been named Male Athlete of the Year, during last night’s New South Wales Institute of Sport Awards at the SCG.
Also recognised, Narara’s Matt Graham; who won the Personal Excellence category for the second-straight year.
The 22 year-old has juggled a double degree in Civil Engineering and Business at Newcastle University, while maintaining his world number two ranking in Moguls skiing.
