Police say more charges could be laid against former Hunter bus driver Wayne Robert Mulhearn, who appeared in Newcastle Local Court today.
The 45-year-old from Raymond Terrace is facing five charges, including the indecent assault of a person under 16, and inciting a person under 16 to commit an act of indecency.
Police allege he kissed the girl on her mouth whilst cuddling her, and also communicated with her online.
The court was also told detectives have seized two computers, a USB drive and phone for analysis.
