A woman is lucky to be alive after being run over by a ute at a music festival on the far north coast.
Shortly after one o’clock this morning, emergency services attended Shara Boulevard, Ocean Shores, about 10kms north of Byron Bay.
According to police, the woman was lying under the ute, and was crushed when the driver attempted to move his vehicle.
The 22-year-old woman was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to hospital in a stable condition.
