It’s hoped traffic problems on Port Macquarie’s Lake Road will come to an end, when the new Blackbutt Road roundabout opens tomorrow.
The $2.3 million upgrade aims to improve safety at the notorious intersection, and ease congestion in the industrial area.
The works took six months to complete, and included a new median strip to prevent right-hand turns from Chestnut Road and Acacia Avenue.
