In Hunter rugby, Southern Beaches will appeal the severity of the eight-game suspension given to Charl Van Niekerk, with a hearing to be held on Monday.
Beaches will travel to Maitland without its captain tomorrow, while Merewether will put its unbeaten run on the line against Nelson Bay.
