STUDENTS WELCOME NEW MENTAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN

Students from across Tamworth today celebrated the launch of a new mental health campaign aimed at helping young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
Created by Headspace, Yarn Safe is a nation-wide program designed to raise awareness of forms of mental illness.
“Unfortunately we know that the likelihood of mental health in Aboriginal people is still quite high and so creating a targeted program is really important in just letting them know that they are special and they are wanted and that we are here to help.”
