HOOK AND O’REILLY EQUAL FIRST AT CHARLESTOWN PRO AM

Hunter golfers Jamie Hook and Callan O’Reilly finished as joint winners of today’s Pro-Am at Charlestown.
Just a day after finishing in a tie for 25th at the Queensland Open, O’Reilly carded a 10-under round.
The event was the first of its kind to utilise big holes, something James Nitties put to good use on the seventh.
He finished at five under, one shot behind Jake Higginbottom.
The field also included greats of the game such as Jack Newton and Neville Bell.
The pro-am circuit moves to Merewether tomorrow.
