A 41-year-old man has been charged with a string of offences following several police chases in the Hunter overnight.
Shortly before 1am, a red Holden Commodore allegedly failed to stop for officers at Jesmond.
That sparked a number of pursuits, spanning several suburbs across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie… at speeds up to 160 kilometres an hour.
A man was later arrested at Lambton.
