DENMAN COMMUNITY CALLING FOR DOCTOR

A public meeting is being held at the Denman Memorial Hall tonight, with residents calling for a doctor for their health facility.

Forum organiser David Roe says the Multi Purpose Service has been without a GP for four years, labelling Hunter New England Health’s attempts to secure a doctor as a dismal failure.

Locals are accusing the health service of not doing enough to advertise the role.

  1. we shold send doctors out there by 9pm tonight because i think if we don`t there will be a couple deaths and i think some people shold do a funraiser for the sick people out that area becuase if they don`t get a doctor on time people might die and i do not want that to happen becuase if i was a doctor i would go out there tonight my self but i have no way of get there by tonight if there was a train or a car or if a plane of doctors like the rural flying doctor might help out there as well as other doctors
