Charlestown’s Jake Higginbottom has fired an impressive final round 68, to finish in a tie for seventh at the $1.5-million Fiji International.
He ended up eight shots in front of fellow Hunter golfers, Nathan Green and James Nitties.
Higginbottom sat in second after the first round, but a 79 yesterday ended his chances of victory.
The 22-year-old carded six birdies and two bogeys to finish the tournament.
