A 64-year-old man is facing a string of charges, after he was allegedly found with a loaded pistol on the Central Coast.
Police spoke to the man and his 39-year-old passenger, after spotting a car parked at a carpet business at Erina early this morning.
A search of the older man allegedly uncovered a loaded .22 calibre revolver, ammunition and an extendable baton.
They also allege two machetes and mobile phones were found in the car.
The 64-year-old was charged with various offences including possessing a loaded firearm in a public place.
