Smokers will no longer be able to light up while visiting the Central Coast’s national parks, with the new year bringing tougher restrictions on smoking in the bush.
Those caught smoking in parks will now face fines of up to $300.
The ban is part of a move to reduce the risk of bushfires in parks as well as litter.
