In the local netball championship, Souths dominated the grand final against Forsythes.
It was a tight contest early on; Souths Captain Tiffany Gilmour leading the charge.
Forsythe’s stayed with the Lions up until the halfway mark but despite their best efforts, the Lions streaked ahead in the third quarter.
Finishing up with a commanding 42 to 25 victory, Souths successfully defending their 2015 title.
