The driver of a semi trailer has been killed in a crash on the mid north coast.
Just before 7am, the semi trailer collided with a four-tonne truck at Halfway Creek, about 40km north of Coffs Harbour.
The semi trailer then ran down an embankment. The driver was found deceased in his cab.
The 42-year-old driver of the other truck was taken to a medical facility with serious pelvic and leg injuries.
