The Gold Coast’s Ross Willaton made easy work of the competition today in round-three
of the Offshore Superboat Championships at Coffs Harbour.
Reaching speeds of 200 kilometres per hour, Willaton left the field in his wake.
“It’s quite challenging actually it was nice inside but there was some lumps and bumps outside so it was actually a very nice track to run in , but quite challenging outside.
It’s the fourth consecutive year the event has been staged in Coffs Harbour.
Conditions were close to ideal for the racing, which attracted thousands of spectators to the harbour foreshore.
