Lake Macquarie mayor, Jodie Harrison, has thanked the local community for its support, as her time in the top job draws to a close.
Last night marked her final council meeting, after eight years on council… four as Mayor.
Ms Harrison is also the state Member for Charlestown, meaning she can’t contest the upcoming council election.
Six candidates have put their names forward for mayor.
