Bali nine member, Newcastle’s Renae Lawrence, is one of four Australians expected to have their sentences reduced as part of Indonesia’s Independence Day celebrations.
It’s been recommended Lawrence, who’s serving time in Bangli Prison in Bali, receive six months off her sentence.
She’s already shaved five years off her original 20-year term for good behaviour.
Sentence reductions routinely occur in Indonesia on Independence Day and also on religious holidays.
