Water restrictions will be eased, with levels in Chaffy Dam reaching just over 50 per cent.
Tamworth Regional Council has announced restrictions will drop to the lowest level the region has seen in almost three years.
Attunga will also move to the same level.
“For the first time in almost three years, we’re looking at having all of our centres – seven supply areas – having permanent water conservation measures.”
The changes come into effect on Saturday.
