A man, who’s walking from Brisbane to Sydney for skin cancer research, arrived in Taree today in high spirits.
Jay Allen, was greeted by his children – the stop marking just over halfway into his 12-hundred kilometre trek.
“Yeah unreal, I hadn’t seem them in a while and it’s also an extra incentive to keep going and hopefully my kids look up to me and know that I’m doing a good thing,” Allen said.
He hopes to arrive in Sydney on April 2.
