ARMED ROBBERY AT MOONEE BEACH

Employees at a licensed premises near Coffs Harbour were forced to lie on the ground, during a brazen armed robbery on Sunday night.
Shortly after 11 o’clock, three men armed with a machete, a screw driver, and a firearm, forced their way into the venue on the Pacific Highway at Moonee Beach.
Three staff were forced to lie on the ground, while a fourth was forced to open a safe.
The intruders fled in a stolen car, with cash and personal items.
They’re described as wearing black balaclavas, gloves and dark clothing – the car was found in bushland off Bucca Road.
