The popularity of hockey as a sport in the Manning Valley continues to grow as the region welcomes more than 60 hockey teams to its fields for the Women’s Half State Masters championships.
Hitting off today, more than 900 players will compete over the three day event which will feature some of the best senior players from the north of the state.
Players are vying for the Masters’ title.
