Four people are being treated in hospital following a head on car crash, south of Lismore this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Bruxner Highway shortly before 1.30, to find two sedans had collided, one carrying a family of three… lucky not to have slipped down an embankment.
A five and six -year-old were taken to hospital in a serious condition with head injuries.
Their mother was transported in a stable condition with chest injuries, while the driver of the second vehicle suffered fractures to his legs.
