Black ice closed parts of the New England Highway near Armidale today, bringing freight traffic to a standstill.
But it was delight for residents in Guyra, with an overnight snow dump creating crisp wintry scapes.
“There’s more cold air at the end of the week and we could see more snow come down across the NSW tablelands next week with another strong front on its way,” says NBN weatherman Gavin Morris.
