A man has been arrested following a short standoff at West Gosford yesterday.
Around 5:30pm on Friday, police attended a home on Young Street after a woman was allegedly threatened with a firearm during an armed robbery.
Police attempted to speak to a man inside the house, but he refused to communicate.
The Tactical Operations Unit was deployed, and shortly after the man was arrested.
He was later charged with assault, robbery, and a number of firearms offences.
