A 23-year-old man has been charged over an assault at a Hunter Valley railway station last weekend.
The Rutherford man was arrested on Sunday, and charged with a number of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It’s alleged he punched a 45-year-old man in the face and kicked him, while waiting at Maitland Railway Station in the early hours of September 15.
He was granted conditional bail, and will face court again in October.
