Police are looking for a man who held up a hotel at Argenton near Newcastle overnight.
The man entered the Argenton Hotel on Lake Road, at about 10pm, armed with a firearm.
He then threatened staff before taking cash and fleeing the scene.
The man is described as being a solid build, 180cm tall and Caucasian in appearance.
