With State of Origin just around the corner, two former stars were in Tamworth today with good news for a local club.
As part of the Road to Origin tour, Matt Cooper and Brent Tate awarded West Tamworth Junior Rugby League Club $1000, to update equipment and uniforms.
Alongside the financial assistance, the retired stars put the kids through their paces.
“It means a lot to the kids. They don’t get to see many NRL players out here in Tamworth.”
