An elderly woman has escaped serious injury this morning when her car ploughed into bushland on Dunoon Road, at Modanville.
The accident occurred at about 9am this morning when the woman was on her way to a nearby bus stop.
Her vehicle landed on its roof and narrowly avoided hitting a house by just 10-metres.
She was taken to Lismore base hospital with only minor injuries.
