A female driver has died as the result of a vehicle crash north of Newcastle yesterday.
Shortly before 8 o’clock on Saturday night, a hatchback and a ute collided at the intersection of Tomago Road and the Pacific Highway, Tomago.
The driver of the hatchback, an 89-year-old female, died at the scene. The other driver was taken to John Hunter Hospital with minor injuries.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
