FRESH APPEAL FOR INFORMATION OVER HUNTER VALLEY HIT AND RUN
Police have renewed their appeal for information, after a cyclist was injured in a hit and run in the Hunter Valley last weekend.
A 17-year-old was riding with two others on Cross Street at Seaham in the early hours of Saturday morning, when he was hit by a dark coloured four-wheel-drive.
It’s alleged the vehicle failed to stop, leaving the scene.
The teenager underwent emergency surgery at Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers are now hoping to speak to anyone who saw a 2007 to 2012 model Mitsubishi Outlander in the area at the time, or one which may have damage to the front of it.
