Fears rail staff in Taree could lose their jobs in proposed state wide cuts have been put to rest, following confirmation from New South Wales Rail that the six full time positions will be retained.
While workers’ shift times are still under negotiation, the number of hours will remain the same.
It comes after a review into the efficiency of the network indicated a growing number of customers are using online tools to book their trips.
