Police believe a domestic dispute may have led to a stabbing at Byron Bay overnight.
Officers were called to Tallow Beach just after 6.30, where they found a 41-year-old man with a wounded forearm.
He was taken to Byron District Hospital in a stable condition.
Police wish to speak to a 33-year-old woman about the incident.
