Arrium has given assurances to workers at several of its Hunter owned sites, that there will be NO redundancies in the region.
The steel and mining group went into voluntary administration this week, after struggling with multi-million dollar debts and lower global commodity prices.
Delegates will meet in South Australia on Monday to organise visits to sites at Mayfield, Bennetts Green, Wallsend and Hexham in the coming weeks.
